Do you ever have one of those dreams that features someone you haven't thought about in years, and after you wake up, you kind of can't get that person out of your mind, and it starts to kind of drive you a little crazy and you think, "Wow, I should get in touch with that person." And then you actually do?

Well, I'm here to tell you: Don't.

Oh my god don't leave me hanging!!! I'm dying to hear the story behind this post.

Oh gosh. I wish I could give you a good story here, but it isn't very good at all. Which is kind of the point. All those feelings that a dream brings up and makes you feel for a day are really kind of false. And when you get in touch with that person, it just doesn't turn out like you think, or hope it would. And this dissapointment can be easily avoided by just waiting through a day, and perhaps another dream, before making that decision to reach out. Because, ultimately, that desire will be gone that next day anyway.
